The Lake Keeps Me

I created this collection of the fish, birds, and insects who live in the inland Northern Michigan lakes using repetitive compositions reminiscent of embroidery and decorative folk arts for people who love and revere all creatures in the North Woods and their beauty. A love letter to the lake I grew up going to every summer.
